Retail Play-Fruity Fun

The sun has come out so this is a post fit for Summer!! Here is a refreshing zesty play area to quech your fun time thirst!

I like this example as it has a nice combination of structure and general soft play space incorporating fixed fruit slice stepping stones. Loose soft play items are not a good idea in retail public environments as things tend to get thrown about by older children or stolen. This is why it is also a good idea to have clearly signed age restrictions and a well policed area.   (Not real police with tasers and pepper spray....that would be over doing it in most cases)

I have rolled out the fruit theme again as we all know you can't eat enough fruit kids!!

Scurvy is a constant threat waiting to pounce on unsuspecting shoppers so If I can do my bit to encourage some citrus intake and provide a bit of hide, climb and slide action at the same time it a win win situation.

This early stage concept was originally developed for Tigerplay & Scotchhall shopping centre in Ireland.

Merchandising for Lovely Scoobits

I have had the pleasure of designing some concept display stands for the lovley people at Scoobits.

 http://www.scoobits.com/

"Scoobits are little characters that strap onto kid’s scooters, one on top of another, making scooters individual, colourful, and a real talking point for kids. A child gets the chance to make the scooter truly their own. On a more practical note, mums will appreciate how easily recognisable their child’s scooter is from all the others. They’re flexible, collectable, and fun."

I think Scoobits are fantastic, a great idea and stunning brand.

There is also a 'reflector' range! Remember kids "At Night Stay Bright".
I have taken to wearing them, instead of a watch, alternating characters on a daily basis depending on my mood....;0)
